THE NMCA 2007 ANNUAL CONVENTION, APRIL 20-22, IS WELL ON ITS WAY TO BEING ANOTHER SUPERB EVENT!!

We have reserved the Sandia Resort, once again, to hold our Annual event. Last year it was spectacular and we know it will prove to be so again this coming April. We have acquired some wonderful speakers, including Dr. Nancy North, speaking on Upper Extremity Adjusting; Dr. Louis Sportelli, President, NCMIC, speaking on Risk Management; Dr. James A. Mertz, speaking on the Basic Principles of Musculoskeletal MRI, and Dr. Windy Carter presenting a Chiropractic Assistant’s workshop on Office Protocols. THE 2007 LEGISLATIVE SESSION IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!!

There will be a lot of excitement during the 2007 Legislative Session and the NMCA, its PAC and Lobbyist will be working hard to help Chiropractic move forward and to help protect your profession in New Mexico. Doctors are needed to treat at the Roundhouse once again this year and we ask that you sign up, as soon as possible, to help fill those slots and to have your chance to talk to the Legislators about our Bills. The Dr. Dan Murphy Seminar was a GREAT success and we thank everyone that attended for their interest and enthusiasm throughout the weekend! Dr. Murphy beautifully presented an extremely well-received workshop and we give him our thanks and appreciation for joining us! Great thanks go to Dr. Ben Markham of Nutri-West for orchestrating and co-sponsoring this weekend and to Erchonia Medical Lasers for exhibiting and adding to success achieved. All in all, it was a great weekend filled with lots of wonderful and useful information! We can’t ask for more than that!!

Thanks to everyone that contributed to the NMCA PAC Raffle!! The winners were: Dr. Bill Smith of Portales won the first prize and chose the weekend in Santa Fe; Dr. Robert Jones of Albuquerque won the second prize and chose the beautiful Navajo Rug; and, Dr. Ron Berg of Gallup (who donated the beautiful Navajo Rug) won the third prize and received a free NMCA 2007 Membership . . . wasn’t that a wonderful happening in the scheme of things!!
