Important Medicare Survey Coming soon to your Mailbox!

ACA would like to alert all doctors who practice in the Medicare Demonstration Project Areas (Maine, New Mexico, 17 counties in central Virginia, 26 counties in northern and north-western Illinois and Scott County, Iowa) that an important confidential survey regarding your experiences with the Medicare Demonstration Project will soon be in your mailbox. It is very important that doctors in the geographic areas covered under the Demonstration Project respond to the survey whether or not they have elected to participate in the Medicare Demonstration Project. The information gathered will be presented to CMS and Congress as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency and desirability of the pilot – and will be used in support of our long-terms efforts to enact permanent legislation expanding the availability of chiropractic care in Medicare. Please understand that your individual responses are confidential – and that only compiled data will be provided to CMS and other authorities. Please look for this important mailing -- which will arrive in a light blue envelope -- later this month. Doctors will have two weeks to respond.
